We need to change the statement that Anat was Baal Hadad’s wife. There is no evidence for this assertion, she is even mentioned as a virgin in the Ba’al Epic.

Thank you, Joshua, for your feedback. Indeed the idea that Anat was Ba’al’s wife or consort is disputed, especially given the attribution of “virgin” in the text as you mentioned. The article will be revised to be more accurate.
