The photo captioned as “Bose and Field Marshal Erwin Rommel” is mis-informed. The person wearing the german uniform is that of a SS junior officer and is not field marshal Rommel. He also does not look like Rommel at all. There is no historical note of Bose having met Rommel. In other books and sources this person has been referred as German field instructor for Bose’s Frei India Korp in Germany.
