The article points out injustices of some deservidly bankrupt capitalist ventures that should be posted to remind us to be cautious. The article does not address the tens of thousands (maybe 100s of thousands) of lives that have been snuffed for “social good” to achieve and maintain socialist systems, that reside closer to the totalitarian and communist regions of the socialist spectrum. Don’t forget totalitarian repression by socialist committees and their elite committee members to maintain their power by suppressing creativity, productivity, and resource development within their relms of control.

All economic systems are inherently about control. Humans are basicly control freeks, with few exceptions. They want to control their own and other’s circumstances. Socialism’s emphasis is upon the control of others for achieving an equality by taking and giving and then elietly controlling the process. Capitalism emphisizes control to advance ones self and ones networking group above competitors. Both are ripe for abuse. Both need benevolent oversight.

We updated the article a bit and added the following sentence in the last section: “Millions of people died during attempts to implement communism in the Soviet Union and China.”

I found this article by searching Google on
(“was a communist society” OR “is a communist society”)
and immediately noticed a missing word space in the first paragraph, “generalpractice”.
It was frustrating, not being able to directly correct this obvious error.

Thank you, Roy, for pointing out that typo. It has been corrected.

The article doesn’t say a word about another form of socialism, national socialism aka Nazi’s. You need to add a section.

I stand corrected. There is a sentence about national socialism but I believe it should be an entire section since it was collaborating with Russian communists early on and did take over most of Europe. It’s important to remember that Nazi’s are socialists too, not capitalist constitutionalists. Is there a section mentioning progressives as well as they’re another form of socialism which is just slow communism anyway.
