Hello,
LawnStarter recently researched the acute and long-term hazards of common lawn chemicals on the environment and our health.
We found that many herbicides such as bifenthrin are highly toxic to aquatic life and may cause cancer, and that runoff laden with fertilizer contribute to significant algae growth downstream. Our findings are collected from EPA, US Medical Library Toxnet, OSHA, and other credible sources.
