While I have no fault with the article (https://www.newworldencyclopedia.org/entry/Maccabees), if one asks the question, How long did the Hasmonean dynasty last, the answer comes back a 100 years. It’s a common mistake subtracting the period CE of about 60 years from the BC year of about 160. It’s really closer to 200 years.

Actually, it is a problem with the text not the arithmetic – the time period is from 165 B.C.E. to 63 B.C.E., which is approximately 100 years. The text will be revised to be clearer.
