Thank you, Teddy, for your comment about using the name “Haudenosaunee” rather than “Iroquois.”
The article clearly gives both names at the top, as well as throughout the text. And, if one searches for “Haudenosaunee” in the encyclopedia, this article appears.
Additionally, the “Introduction” section of the article discusses possible origins for the name “Iroquois.”
Although it seems unnecessary to make any change in the title of the article, your taking the time to offer the suggestion is appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to help make NWE a valuable information resource.
