FYI – The GRV does not have the deepest lake in the world in Lake Tanganyika. Lake Bikal in Russia is the deepest lake in the world. Lake T. is the second deepest.

Thank you, Debra, for pointing out that mistake. Lake Baikal in Russia is indeed deeper, making Lake Tanganyika the second deepest lake in the world. The text has been revised to correct that statement.
