I find that many of your points about Franjo Tudman and Croatia are incorrect and not based on facts. For instance, the checkerboard on the Croatian flag is not from the Ustache, rather it has been used since the 10th Century. It was included to represent the Kings of Croatia from that time. If you look at the flags of Croatia from the past, the checkerboard was always used and they continued to use it for that reason. I am a little confused how the article was not proofed based on facts in many instances but has been submitted as complete and utter fact. Especially to be published on a site titled “New World Encyclopedia”. Shouldn’t research have been done first, especially when claiming to be an encyclopedia?

I don’t know that much about Croatia’s backed history and came to your site for more information and was shocked to find that I myself found errors. It makes me wonder what else about your article is incorrect. Which, makes me sad that as a reader I will have to do my own further research to find the truth as I can not be assured that your site is providing it to me.

You should do your homework before publishing the “facts’ as you see them.

Thank you for your feedback. It is unfortunate that the statement about the checkerboard pattern on the Croatian flag was erroneously inserted into this article. It has now been removed. Thank you for helping to make NWE a valuable information resource.
